Before you install, read carefully the instruction bellow:

The right procedures to download and install the sceneries from Worldsceneries site:

Disable every program that initiates automatically: ICQ, anti-virus, MSN (mainly) and so on. You just need to click with the right bottom of the mouse on all the icons on the inferior bar to close them.

Many users just can't download the software and they simply do not know why... It is not possible to do it if you do not empty the trash and useless large files.

The next steps must be done with your full attention to avoid committing any mistake.

Open the icon my computer
Then, Temporary Internet Files which is in Windows root,
On the menu bar
click Edit
Select all,

On menu bar again
Click File
Then exclude
Go to the Temp file which is in windows root
And delete everything in it.

Download the files into drive C: (most of the computers disable the drive D:, that's why is better follow this structure).
Click the link at the end of this page ( do not double-click)

While the computer is downloading, do not work on it (until it has finished the download).

Download all the files of each scenery into a temporary folder. Some larger sceneries are shared in even10 folders.

Do not rename any file.

If you did not succeed, follow the structures bellow step-by-step:

Point to Initiate,
Then click execute,
It is going to appear a space, you just type msconfig.
A new screen will be opened,

On the menu on the top of the screen (at the right) click initiate.
A new screen will come up.
If there is any checked box, uncheck them.

Click apply
Then Ok,
And just now you can download the file
After you have finished the download, access again msconfig and check the boxes again.
Reinitiate the computer and install the sceneries.

How you install the sceneries:

After you have downloaded the file(s) in just one folder, click on Executable File, and then you must follow the instruction on the screen. I suggest you, when the installer requests you to type the serial, do not type yourself, copy and paste on the appropriated blank.
The installer is automatic. It will add the sceneries and index the airport’s name automatically.

The WorldSceneries guarantees the compatibility between its sceneries and the original Flight Simulator 2004 (and its aircrafts as well). We do not bear responsibility for others’s additional freeware or payware. We do not have the access to the information about the way they (others payware and freeware) are created.

The Worldsceneries’ sceneries (in FS2002):

All the sceneries were developed for the Flight Simulator 9, but you can also install them in FS2002, but the its installer is not automatic, so you will have to do the procedure manually, and you must have the specific knowledge of dealing with Windows’ file.

Click the Executable File and indicate the way to FS2002. The installer will create the folders for the sceneries in the directory FS2002\SCENERY\BRAZIL\GUARULHOS.

It will also be created a folder and a subfolder in C:\FS2002\SCENERY\BASE\SCENERY.
Drag all the folders from the subfolder FS2002\SCENERY\BASE\SCENERY to FS2002\SCENERY. Then you can delete the BASE folder and its subfolder.

All the Worldsceneries’ installers index the sceneries automatically in FS2004. In other words, it edit the entries of SCENERY.CFG. In case you have FS2002 installer, it will not be able to index automatically, so, you will have to add the sceneries manually.

There are some Worldsceneries’ sceneries that does not have Land Class, these ones do not create those folders SCENERY\BASE\SCENERY, this means that it is not necessary to handle the folders.

AFCAD2 just works in FS2004.
The reason: The necessity of handling it, comes because of the Land Class, which is BGL folders, it is in charge of managing all the modifications of the land’s class in the original scenery of the Flight Simulator. It just work in the main SCENERY folder: the cities’s and the vegetation’s texture. Land Class just works if you reinitiate the computer after the procedure of installation.

Frame Rate: You have to let the system choose the frame rate. Do not choose any Scenery Density that your hardware can’t support, in this way you will avoid that the Flight Simulator becomes slower.

The frame rate you will get from the additional sceneries (which ones are very detailed) will depend on your computer’s configurations (which programs are installed that eventually can take (consume) RAM memory).

Before you initiate the flight, configure the Flight Simulator with the option DEFAULT in all the items (TEXTURE, AIRCRAFT, WEATHER, HARDWARE, AUTOGEN, SCENERY DENSITY and so on). FS9 will analyze your hardware and the highest level of Frame Rate your computer can support. If you increase the DENSITY or the resolutions manually, one thing will get worse: The Frame Rate.

1 - Are these sceneries for FS2002 or FS2004?

The sceneries are compatible with both versions, but it is necessery to change some files from specific folders. Write to support1@worldsceneries.com for instructions.

7 - When I try to install, the program says that there is a CRC, Descompaction error or asks to insert another disk.

This happens when the file was corrupted during the download. The most common problem is the connection oscilation due to use of resident-programs (icq, anti-viruses..) Please disable these programs before downloading.

8 – How do I access Greenpeace ship in Fernando de Noronha?

Install Fernando de Noronha AFCAD file and choose "Greenpeace Flight Deck" at the Airport List.
